Biography of Mr. Vandy Poon, CEO

Mr. Vandy Poon took up the post of Chief Executive Officer of CTM on September 2007, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of CTM and is the first local CEO of the utility industries ever in Macau.
Mr. Vandy Poon joined CTM in 1987 and was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2006. Mr. Poon has held various pivotal roles in CTM in the functions of Marketing, Mobile Business with significant contribution on the development and growth of various key telecom services, such as 3G mobile service, Internet service and etc. During the historical ceremony of Macau's Return to China in 1999, he had played a key role in the establishment of the Media Centre.
Under his leadership, CTM remains committed to the development of Macau. Besides providing world-class telecom services to Macau residents, CTM also actively participates in social and charitable affairs and supports international events held in Macau, fostering the overall well-being of the community.
Born and raised in Macau, Mr. Vandy Poon received tertiary education in the USA and was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master Degree. Mr. Poon is married with one daughter who is studying in Macau.
