As a locally rooted telecom operator in Macau, CTM upholds the responsibility of safeguarding the telecom services in Macau for the past 4 decades. In regards to the anti-epidemic effort, CTM has been actively cooperating and fully supporting the various preventive measures of the MSAR Government. Since June this year, CTM launched the COVID-19 vaccination encouragement program to appeal staff member to receive vaccination as to contribute in building an immune barrier for the Macau community. As of 18th October, over 90% of CTM staff are covid-19 vaccinated.
Vandy Poon, CEO of CTM said, “CTM has been actively encouraging staff members to take the COVID-19 vaccination, as of 18th October, the overall vaccination rate of CTM staff has reached over 90%, amongst which, the vaccination rate of frontline staff member is near 100%, which is a solid proof of CTM’s determination in ensuring the health and safety of its staff members and customers.”
Being a stakeholder of the Macau community, CTM remains committed in cooperating with the MSAR government’s anti-epidemic measures, including crowd control and regular disinfection and cleaning at its shops, providing full set of anti-pandemic gears to all frontline staff for the healthy sake of customers and staff members.
CTM will continue to encourage its staff members to get vaccinated without delay, together with all sectors in Macau, looking forward to achieving a high vaccination rate to building up an immune barrier for Macau, to support the MSAR Government to accelerate Macau’s economy resume normal.
