The 6th Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) was successfully held from April 21 to 23 in Macau. To ensure stable and secure network communications during the conference, CTM network team developed a comprehensive network security plan, takes the lead in deploying innovative communication technologies such as 5.5G multi-network convergence leased line, and successfully provided communication services and network security protection throughout the event.

Hudson Lou, Director of Network Services & Development, CTM, stated that in order to ensure comprehensive network security for the 6th Ministerial Conference of Forum Macao, CTM’s network team formulated a thorough communication and network security plan prior to the conference and conducted multiple simulation exercises, deployed over 190 network technicians to ensure overall communication service quality and network security protection at various event venues, including the China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform Complex, Macau East Asian Games Dome, Macau Science Center, and hotels where conference participants stayed.

Lou said that, in addition to conducting drills and real-time monitoring, CTM took the lead in implementing 5.5G multi-network convergence leased line technology, continuously enhances service quality of local and international leased line, fixed network, international roaming, in-venue wireless Wi-Fi, fiber-optical broadband, and mobile service, committed to providing conference participants with high-speed and smooth communications service experience.
