Macau Industrial Association Visited CTM AI Innovation Center for In-Depth Exchanges on 5.5G + AI Smart Transformation

On 2nd May, Antonio Chui Yuk Lum, President of the Macau Industrial Association, led a delegation to visit the CTM City Digital Economy (Macau) Innovation Center. Both parties held in-depth discussions on "AI-Driven Smart Transformation" and toured the center to explore a range of 5.5G + AI digital transformation solutions designed for various application scenarios.

 

On the morning of the visit, Antonio Chui Yuk Lam, President of the Macau Industrial Association, along with Fong Son Kin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Vice Presidents Ho Teng Iat and José Tang Kuan Meng, led a delegation of near 30 members to the CTM Original Store in Rua do Pedro Coutinho and toured the City Digital Economy (Macau) Innovation Center, where they received a warm welcome from the CTM team, including Ebel Cham, Vice President, Commercial, CTM. During the visit, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on "AI-Driven Smart Transformation."

 

Ebel Cham, Vice President, Commercial, CTM, expressed a heartfelt welcome to the delegation from the Macau Industrial Association. She hoped that through this exchange, the delegation can gain a deeper understanding of the needs and expectations regarding AI applications in different industries. She emphasized that CTM is committed to leveraging AI technology and network resources to provide more smart transformation solutions for various sectors, helping to expand product sales channels and support the upgrade and development of more local quality brands in Macau.

 

Antonio Chui Yuk Lam, President, Macau Industrial Association emphasized that the relationship between industry and AI is becoming more interconnected in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. The integration of AI technology in industry not only boosts production efficiency and quality but also fosters greater intelligence and automation in manufacturing processes. During their visit to CTM AI Innovation Center, the group gained valuable insights into the current state of AI development in Macau and expressed hopes for enhanced collaboration opportunities between the industrial sector and CTM in the future.

 

During the visit, representatives from CTM shared detailed insights on the current applications of AI across various industries, as well as several "CTM 5.5G+AI" digital transformation solutions tailored to the needs of different sectors in Macau. Members of the Macau Industrial Association expressed their concerns about how AI can support the transformation of the manufacturing industry, enhance product quality inspection, and drive product retail. CTM stated that it will continue to enhance local AI capabilities in response to the demands for smart transformation across various sectors in Macau, promoting the implementation of more "5.5G+AI" applications to accelerate the smart transformation across different industries.
