To foster a spirit of patriotic unity and love for the motherland and Macau, CTM actively encourages and organizes series of patriotic activities for staff. On April 17, nearly 60 CTM employees, led by members of the management team, visited the “National Security Education Exhibition”. The visit provided staff with a profound understanding of the practices and achievements of the Motherland and Macau in safeguarding national security. It also highlighted the critical efforts required to further strengthen comprehensive security and development as the region embarks on the new journey of the “15th Five-Year Plan”. Through the visit, CTM encouraged colleagues to remain steadfast in their mission as the “Macau Telecom Gatekeeper”, urging them to continue contributing to the enduring security of both the Nation and Macau.
That afternoon, the group of nearly 60 employees, led by CTM Senior Management Team, arrived at the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. Guided by exhibition staff, the team gained an in-depth understanding of the milestones achieved in safeguarding national security. The visit focused particularly on the transition into the “15th Five-Year Plan”, highlighting the new strategic requirements and emerging challenges essential to maintaining national security in this next phase of development.
During the visit, employees expressed that the nation's secure development has not been easily won and that maintaining national security is closely intertwined with daily life. Given the current global instability, many noted a profound resonance with Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi’s description: "While the world around us is fraught with turbulence, the Motherland behind us remains as steady as Mount Tai”. Recognizing that cybersecurity is a critical pillar of national security, the staff affirmed their commitment to fulfilling the vital mission of safeguarding the Nation through their professional duties at CTM.
CTM will remain steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the network security of both the nation and the Macau SAR and continue to organize patriotic activities for colleagues and their families to promote a sense of attachment to the motherland and Macau while enhancing awareness of enhancing national security.
