CTM committed to promoting 5G and laying a solid foundation for "Digital Macau"

To continuously promoting the development of “Digital Macau”, CTM has established a smart city infrastructure with "Three Networks, Three Centers and One Platform" through continuous investment, as well as actively introduces various smart applications that cater to the needs of Macau citizens in pursuance of a smart life. During the occasion of the Celebration of “5.17 World Telecom Day” (May 17), CTM introduces the advantages of CTM 5G and Cloud service convergence under the theme of “Digital Technologies for Older Persons and Healthy Ageing”, showcasing a new experience of elderly wisdom riding on IoT technology .

 

During the occasion, CTM demonstrated the brand-new service solutions of FTTR, the feature is to extend the optical fiber to every room, with a new generation of Wi-Fi 6 wireless technology, to achieve ultra-high speed and full coverage of network to every corner inside premises. Moreover, the popularization of FTTR and 5G will further accelerate the development of IoT, with various smart devices and applications, bringing the senior citizen a full-scenario-based smart experience, providing high quality network infrastructure to achieve smart living, smart caring and medical big data service for elderly services.

 

Aiming to facilitate the senior citizens to overcome the "Digital Divide" and integrate into the smart era, CTM introduces various new smart experience applications and services. The equipment package is equipped with popular terminal equipment such as online live broadcast, 3D imaging, and video shooting. Through simple and convenient operation, that will enable senior citizens to easily integrate into the new 5G era.
