CTM showcased a series AI + Tourism Digital Solutions at the 14th MITE

The 14th Macau International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) was held from April 10 to 12 at Halls A, B, and C of the Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macau. CTM has showcased a range of AI + Tourism digital solutions and products at its booth and a new service launch ceremony was held, further to show support the development of Macau’s tourism industry through a variety of smart application scenarios.

 

At noon on the opening day, CTM held the launch ceremony for its “Roam-to-Talk” service at its booth. Jacob Iu, Marketing director of CTM stated that CTM is committed to creating more smart tourism scenarios for visitors to Macau through technologies such as AI + big data and large language models. At the same time, CTM continues to focus on communication services for Macau residents traveling abroad. CTM currently has roaming agreements with over 400 operators worldwide, more than half of which already support 5G roaming. In addition to continuously expanding its global roaming partnerships, CTM will soon launch the “Roam-to-Talk” service to meet the diverse communication needs of residents while traveling. By simply connecting to Wi-Fi or a mobile data network, customers can use their original CTM phone numbers to make and receive calls to local Macau or overseas numbers in VoIP mode, significantly reducing international roaming call charges while enjoying a higher quality calling experience. The “Roam-to-Talk” service will also feature built-in emergency contact numbers for Chinese embassies and consulates overseas, as well as the Macau tourism emergency hotline, making it easier for customers to access support services in emergency situations.
