Recently, on July 18, CTM hosted a workshop on Edge Node Services (ENS) in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud (Macao), where both parties shared insights on how this service can enhance computing power and operational efficiency for customer systems.
The "Edge Node Service Workshop" jointly organized by CTM and Alibaba Cloud (Macao), was held last Friday (July 18) at the Finance and IT Centre of Macau. The event drew nearly 50 participants from local government departments, banks, insurance companies and the IT sector.
Mr. Joe Ho, Director, Enterprise Sales, CTM highlighted in his welcome speech that more and more businesses, institutions and government departments are turning to edge node services in order to boost digital transformation. As a key player in Macau's smart city development, CTM is working closely with Alibaba Cloud (Macao) to provide local customers with safer, more efficient and cost-effective edge node services. With CTM's edge nodes and extensive network resources, the company can offer solutions that bring computing closer to end users, ensuring global coverage and distributed computing power. This setup allows for quicker data processing, significantly improving system response times and reducing strain on central resources, ultimately lowering operational costs. In addition, it ensures compliance with local regulations regarding data storage in Macau
