To foster a spirit of patriotic unity and love for the motherland and Macau, CTM actively organizes a series of patriotic activities for staff. This afternoon (25^th), Vandy Poon, CEO, CTM led over 50 employees to visit the “Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”. The visit aimed to deepen employees’ understanding of the significance of these historic victories, honor the heroes who fought for freedom and inspire a renewed passion for patriotism and love for the mother Country and Macau, while enhancing their sense of national pride.

 

The exhibition officially opened on 25^th August. That afternoon, Vandy Poon, CEO, CTM led over 50 employee representatives to visit the “Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”. Through the valuable historical materials on display, employees gained insight into the immense sacrifices made by the Chinese people in their fight for the homeland, as well as the indomitable national spirit and the remarkable resilience demonstrated during the war.

 

During the visit, employees expressed their deep respect for the heroes who courageously fought against the Japanese invasion. They emphasized the importance of remembering history, never forgetting national humiliation, cherishing peace and actively contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

 

Vandy Poon stated that during the 14 years of the War of Resistance, the Chinese people not only achieved a significant victory but also developed a remarkable spirit of resilience, showcasing the indomitable and self-reliant character of the nation. Under the leadership of the Central Government, we are making continual progress toward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. He hopes this visit will further inspire employees' passion for patriotism and love for the motherland and Macau, encouraging them to bring the spirit of resistance into their daily work and with unwavering determination, to work diligently to ensure the security of telecommunications for both the nation and the Macau SAR.
