Terms & Condition
· This tariff only applicable to residential buildings which covered by Fiber broadband.
· The installation charge of $600 is applicable to those residence have already installed fiber line by CTM. Should the fiber line is damaged and need to re-install a new fiber line by CTM, customers are required to pay for the installation charge of $900.
· *CTM network complies to network specifications according to the subscribed plan of the customers, connected from the first piece of network equipment of the CTM network to the modem at the customer's home premises, Fiber broadband plans with 1Gbps or below offer symmetric upload/download speeds, while plans with 2Gbps or above provide asymmetric speeds. Under this plan, the maximum download and upload speeds are 50Gbps (50Gbps / 25Gbps, with each network port capped at 25Gbps); 10Gbps (10Gbps / 5Gbps) ; 5Gbps (5Gbps / 2.5Gbps) ; 2Gbps (2Gbps / 1Gbps, with each network port capped at 1Gbps); 1Gbps (1Gbps / 1Gbps); 600Mbps (600Mbps / 600Mbps) ; 300Mbps (300Mbps / 300Mbps); 150Mbps (150Mbps / 150Mbps); 100Mbps (100Mbps / 100Mbps).
· The actual available bandwidth will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the customer's software and hardware, router specifications, website load, connection content and other environmental factors. In addition to the above factors, the bandwidth of connecting to overseas websites will be affected by the local network and therefore will be lower than the bandwidth available locally.
· Customers should ensure that their routers, cables, and Internet access devices (such as computers, smartphones, etc.) support the required upload and download speeds.
· The speed measurement for the Fiber Broadband Service is the theoretical value based on the ideal condition. In the actual environment, the service has protection mechanisms to ensure high accuracy of data high-speed transmission, and general speed test simulators such as speedtest.net do not include the consumption of the related protection mechanisms.
· While using 2Gbps or above service plan, the modification of transmission speeds is subject to actual conditions and individual cases, which may require a scheduled on-site equipment replacement.
· To enjoy the 20% off Student offer, students are required to present their respective student card as issued by the DSEDJ. If a subscriber enjoying the student offers leaves the school system, the offer will no longer be valid and normal pricing will be applied. Free Filtering Service is available. New registration of Student offer must associate with application of Broadband Filtering Service or CTM must obtain the signature from student's parents for exemption.
· Customers are bound by the Terms & Conditions of the Service Provided by CTM.
