Roaming Data Charge Alert
You will automatically receive a SMS alert right after logging out from the roaming data service with the accumulated roaming data charge equaling or has gone over any one of the following amounts: $500, $1,000, $2,000 or $5,000.
Notes
- The amount displays in the “Roaming Data Charge Alert” is for reference only, please refer to your latest mobile bill for actual charge.
- The roaming data usage consumed each time while travelling will be accumulated, and when it reaches to the default amount (i.e. $500, $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000), customer will receive a roaming data usage alert.
- As all the roaming data charge is being calculated on an accumulative basis, the amount reminder may not necessarily send to customer via SMS in sequence. (For example: If the first use of the
roaming data service charge has exceeded $1,999, the roaming data charge reminder will be: “your accumulated roaming data charge has exceeded $1,000 as of now”)
- The receiving of SMS alert may delay due to network condition. The content of the SMS is for reference only, in case there is any discrepancy, the latest records of CTM shall prevail.
- While roaming, customer is required to pay for all the related data service roaming charges based on the individual charges of the roaming network operators.
- The service is based on the CTM Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
